EEDAS provides the following services:
I. Comprehensive auditing of public services that include technical, legal, administrative, environmental and OSH support. Among which are:

• Supervision of the provision of the electric power service in the Department, in charge of monitoring compliance with the obligations contained in the Concession Contract signed between SOPESA S.A. E.S.P. and the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

• Supervision of the concession for the management of the MAGIC GARDEN solid waste disposal site.

II. Project management in Non-Conventional Sources of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency through the business unit called SEA that is in charge of structuring, formulating and executing projects. Click here.

EEDAS S.A. E.S.P. has partners such as:

The Energy Company of the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina -EEDAS S.A. E.S.P. SA ESP, established its legal nature and its legal regime as a mixed public services company. A joint-stock company, of the type of anonymous, by virtue of the provisions of Law 142 of 1994, which exercises its activities within the scope of private law as a commercial entrepreneur, with administrative, patrimonial and budgetary autonomy, and is governed by the rules of private law.

At present, EEDAS only has one headquarters on the island of San Andrés.

Since May 1, 2010, EEDAS has been auditing the electric power service in the Department, while SOPESA S.A. E.S.P. is the company responsible for providing the electric power service, carrying out the activities of generation, distribution and commercialization.

In other words, EEDAS must ensure that SOPESA complies with the provision of the electric power service, in accordance with the contractual stipulations.

In EEDAS you can file petitions, complaints and claims about the activities carried out by the company; In the case of the energy service, the user must file their claim directly with the service operator (SOPESA S.A. E.S.P.), in which case they can send a copy to EEDAS, in order to follow up on their request with the service operator.

No, it is necessary for the user to file their PQR (RCC) in SOPESA S.A. E.S.P. and if you wish, you can send a copy of it to EEDAS for follow-up.

• When I have already formulated a request, complaint or claim with the electric power service provider (SOPESA S.A. E.S.P.), and I require a follow-up to my PQR (RCC) to guarantee that the operator complies with due process.
• I require orientation in Energy Efficiency
• I need to execute a project in Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources.
